Dr. Whitney Purtzer

Optometrist

Dr. Whitney Purtzer was born and raised in South Bend, IN, and is a 2006 Penn High School graduate. She completed her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 2010 and received her doctorate in Optometry from Ohio State University in 2014.

Dr. Purtzer is a member of the American Optometric Association, Indiana Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Purtzer enjoys working with children, fitting specialty contact lenses, and treating diseases of the eye.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, Chris, son Austin, and daughter Allie.
